Wholly South African owned, Waterwell has grown into a substantial supplier of pool and spa care supplements. Its own range covers balancers, sanitisers, shock treatments, algaecides, enhancers and speciality problem-solvers, backed by in-store water analysis and prescription software.

The company also represents a number of well-known equipment brands, among them Eartheco pumps and filters, Ecoclear recycled glass filtration media, Dolphin robotic cleaners, MineralSwim, Oatey and Pentair, along with its own Niya cleaner range, salt chlorinators, LED lights and skimmer boxes.

Head office is in Gauteng, with further offices in Cape Town and Durban serving a retail network across the country. Products reach the public mainly through pool shops, and are recommended by pool building, renovation and maintenance companies.
