B.D. Pools (BD Pool Services) is a commercial and domestic swimming pool specialist within the WDI Group, drawing on more than 35 years of combined experience in the water treatment industry. Founder Herman van der Mast is a member of the UK-registered Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers.
The team designs, builds and finishes custom pools and water features, with specialist capabilities in waterproofing, tiling, plaster finishing, filtration and bio-filtration, structural work and hydraulic reticulation. A maintenance division services domestic and commercial pools and supplies chemicals, fittings and cleaning equipment.
The portfolio spans private homes in Mooikloof and Johannesburg, the Soulstice Spa pools at Silverstar Casino, Emperors Palace, the University of Johannesburg, St Mary's School and Kingsmead College, plus lodges on the Zambezi.
