Established in 1962, Blue Lagoon Pools is one of South Africa's oldest family-owned pool building companies. The multi-award-winning Pretoria firm helped draft minimum pool construction specifications in partnership with the SABS and holds a CIDB Government-approved Grade 5 CE grading.

Concrete pools are built with steel reinforcing using handpacked pre-mixed concrete or pneumatically applied gunite. Beach entries, tanning ledges, waterfalls, spas and vanishing edges can be built in, with finishes in tiling, marble plaster or fibreglass, and nine pre-moulded fibreglass designs are also installed.

Blue Lagoon Pools is a leading builder of public and commercial pools to FINA standards, with projects for Virgin Active, Planet Fitness, Curro and Reddam schools. The team also renovates older pools, from re-marbeliting and new linings to pumps, filters, heating and automatic chlorinators.
