JVR Thatchers was establish in 1992, focusing mainly on thatching and decking. The company moved to Nelspruit in 2001 and became
JVR Thatch and Pool.

JVR Thatch and Pool specialise in the following services:

• High quality concrete and gunite pools
• Wooden decking
• Lapa’s

Recently their services have expanded to include:

• Entertainment areas
• Lodge pools
• Retaining walls and overflow pools
• Gunite and concrete pool shells
• Renovations to existing pools

In the past 16 years, the company has build more than 60 000m² thatching, 40 000m² decking and over 400 domestic pools.

JVR Pools believes in delivering the most cost-effective product to their customers whilst never compromising on quality. Customer satisfaction is ensured by using the highest quality materials, on-site supervision, on-time delivery and after-care service.

Their personnel consist of three pool teams, two thatch teams and two decking teams, thus ensuring the best on-time service and quality to their customers. Seventy per cent of their personnel have been with the company for five years.

In an ongoing drive to combat unemployment, all their teams are from the local community, empowering them to become the best tradesmen in a specific trade.
