Kumus Pools

Kumus Pools builds new reinforced concrete swimming pools across Gauteng, handling excavation, steel, gunite, plumbing and finishes with their own team. Alongside new builds they do custom pool design — shape, depth, finishes, lighting and water features planned around the garden, the budget and how the family swims — plus renovations, repairs, resurfacing, paving, tiling and coping, plumbing, filtration, pumps and lighting.

Their published process runs in six steps: a site consultation assessing ground, access and existing services; a layout and itemised quotation; setting the pool out on site for the client's approval before excavation begins; reinforcement, pipework and the concrete shell, pressure tested; interior finish, waterline tiling, coping and paving; and handover, where the equipment is commissioned, the water balanced and the client shown how to run the pool.

Resurfacing is offered in marbelite, fibreglass and modern interior finishes over a properly prepared and repaired shell. Paving runs to travertine and porcelain. They work Monday to Saturday by appointment across Johannesburg, Sandton, Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, the East Rand, the West Rand and the Vaal Triangle.
