Gunite is a dry mix of cement and aggregate that meets water at the nozzle and is sprayed at high pressure over steel mesh or rebar. Because it is shaped rather than poured into formwork, it suits designs that would be awkward to cast conventionally.
A build runs from terrain preparation and excavation through the steel frame and the sprayed shell to the finish. Pools are completed in marble plaster, in fibreglass in a range of colours, or fully tiled, with waterproofing, coping and grouting done in sequence, and water features built in where a design calls for one.
The company also builds eco-friendly pools that use aquatic plants and biological filtration rather than chlorine, and has taken on work beyond private homes, including commercial projects and movie set design.
