Pool Kit Company

Pool Kit Company is a Cape Town fibreglass pool specialist based in Parklands. The team has more than 10 years' experience installing and selling pools in the Western Cape, has installed over 300 pools, and has worked with all the major pool suppliers and installers in the region. Their focus is on selling the right pool rather than simply installing one: they guide homeowners to the shell that suits their garden, budget and plans before anything is ordered.

DIY fibreglass pool kits

Every DIY pool kit comes with the fibreglass shell plus the pump, filter and plumbing kit needed to get it running. DIY pools are affordable and straightforward to install, so homeowners can manage the installation themselves and save both money and time. For anyone who would rather not do it alone, the company quotes on an assisted installation through its approved list of installers, for household and commercial projects alike.

A wide range of shells

The range runs to more than 60 shapes, from compact splash pools such as the 1.8 m Rio and 2.2 m Opera, through 4 m, 5 m and 6 m family pools, up to 8.5 m models like the Malta 8 and Atlantic 8 Patio, plus lap pools. Popular families such as Atlantic and Pacific come in plain, patio, bay and left- or right-hand step layouts, so the steps and seating can sit where they work best in your garden. Depths run from about 0.9 m in the smallest splash pools to 1.75 m in the deeper 7–8 m models.

Finishes

Shells are available in three colours — African Blue, Cloud Grey and Strong Blue — and can be finished with a choice of twelve mosaic trims (from Clifton Blue and Splash to Summertime Grey) and five coping stones: Graphite, Industrial Grey, Desert Sand, Mushroom and Red Dune.
