Powerpools West Rand

Every new pool is fully reinforced with steel bars and steel mesh, and the shell is cast in 30 MPa readymix concrete. In the fibreglass pools a smooth plaster coat is applied beneath the lining.

Where the choice is open, Powerpools prefers to line a pool in fibreglass rather than marbelite, because the lifespan of a fibreglass lining is many years longer. Both finishes are offered, on new builds and on renovations to existing pools.

All pumps and filtration are included in the work, together with a 1 m non-slip paving tile surround around the finished pool. Solar heating and heat pumps are fitted as well.
