Suburban Pools
Built on craft & trust
Gunite is the whole business. Sand and cement are blown through a hose and met with water at the nozzle, and the pressure produces a dense, voidless shell with no expansion joints. An average medium-sized pool is shot into place in a day and cures in about twenty-four hours.
That speed is what lets them build where others hesitate. On a high water table a submersible pump sits in a stone-filled sump and keeps the excavation dry through steel-fixing and gunite, with the drainage point sealed just before filling. On filled ground the pool is founded on mass gunite piles reaching solid material below, and free-standing pools on slopes get doubled steel and an engineer's sign-off.
They build rim-flow and flush-deck pools, lap and infinity pools, glass feature pools, splash pools, jacuzzis, and school and commercial pools, and they resize, reshape, reline and re-marble-plaster existing ones.
