The Townhouse Pools range is manufactured by Poly Phoenix Fibreglass Products, which produced its first pool in 1969 and describes itself as the originator of pre-moulded fibreglass pools in South Africa. The smaller shells were developed when shrinking stand sizes outgrew the original Phoenix range, and the firm holds the registered Townhouse Pools trade mark.
Shells carry model names including Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Pegasus, Saturn, Venus and Phoenix, and every model can be installed free-standing or in-ground. Fibreglass needs fewer chemicals and less scrubbing than concrete, and Poly Phoenix runs regular site inspections on dealer installations.
The showroom at 38 Forge Road, Spartan serves Kempton Park, Edenvale, Benoni and the wider East Rand, opening weekdays from 07:30 to 16:30 for product advice, pricing and on-site assessments.
