Ultimate Pools

Ultimate Pools manufactures fibreglass swimming pool shells at its premises in Broadlands, between Strand and Somerset West, and installs them across the Helderberg area, Cape Town, George, Swellendam and Worcester in the Western Cape. The nine shell models are named after wines, each with a published size, running from the compact Riesling at 3m by 1.7m and a metre deep, up through Malbec, Moscato, Cabernet Franc and the 5.3m Merlot Bay, to the largest, Pinotage, at 6.3m by 3.2m. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Shiraz variants fill out the range, with depths from 1m to 1.7m to suit different gardens and budgets.

Because the shells are moulded in-house, homeowners can choose a fully installed fibreglass pool built by the Ultimate Pools team, or collect a DIY pool kit and manage their own excavation and installation. This makes the range suited to both first-time pool owners wanting a hands-off build and experienced DIYers looking to save on labour costs.

Beyond new pools, the team handles repairs, relining and remodelling of older concrete and fibreglass pools, giving tired backyard pools a new lease on life.
