Horizon Pools: 2014 NSPI Pool Of The Year

Other than the perfect symmetry and pool finishing, this twelve  by three and-a-half metre Cape Town swimming pool features many luxury and safety features.

This pool includes stainless steel handrails running down both sides of the pool. Genuine ceramic mosaics have been used along the entire water-line of the pool.

The safety and comfort features in this pool are among the best on the market. The automatic chlorinator is self-cleaning and the pool is heated using a solar heating system situated away from the pool. Swimming pool safety is maximized by using an automated swimming pool cover that slides in and out of a pit hidden beneath a timber deck at the deep end of the pool. Automating the pool cover means that there is never a reason to leave the pool uncovered and unsafe. A simple flick of a switch secures the pool.
