Perched on a rooftop with the ocean on the horizon, this project earned Robust Pools and Paving a Gold Award in the Semi-Public & Public Pools category at the 2025 NSPI Awards for KwaZulu-Natal.
The project
About this pool
The rectangular pool holds a dark, mirror-like sheet of water within transparent glass walls, its rim-flow edges spilling over on two sides. Mottled blue tiles clad the raised base and surrounding troughs, while stainless-steel balustrades and white loungers complete the sky-level setting.
