Concrete Pools
A concrete pool is a pool whose shell is built on site from steel-reinforced concrete, so it can be made in any shape, size or depth you like.

Fibreglass Pools
A fibreglass pool is a pool whose swimming surface is a smooth, non-porous layer of glass fibre and resin — either a shell moulded in a factory and lowered into your garden, or fibreglass laid onto a shell built on site.

Infinity Pools (Rim-Flow)
An infinity pool — what the South African trade calls a rim-flow pool — is a pool whose water spills over a precisely level edge into a hidden tank below, so the surface reads as though it has no boundary.

Nature Pools
A nature pool keeps its water clear with plants and bacteria instead of chlorine — which means it is really two pools, and the second one needs a serious piece of garden.

Mosaic Pools
A mosaic pool is finished with small glass, porcelain or stone tiles instead of plaster — as a waterline band on most South African pools, or across the whole interior on a few.

Lap Pools
A lap pool is a long, narrow pool built for swimming lengths rather than lounging in — one uninterrupted lane, usually of a single depth, and in South Africa usually somewhere between 10 and 20 metres long.
