Cantilevered off a contemporary glass-fronted home, this elevated pool holds pale aqua water within a raised shell wrapped in frameless glass, a subtle circular motif traced on the floor.
The project
About this pool
The overflow edge spills along the garden side into a lower trough, while broad grey porcelain terraces step down to the entertainment level, where loungers and planters frame the water against coastal scrub. The build earned Island Pools a Gold Award in the Pool Finishing category at the 2025 NSPI Awards, flying the flag for the Western Cape.
