This sculptural courtyard installation earned Island Pools of the Western Cape a Platinum Award for the highest score in its category at the 2025 NSPI Awards.

About this pool
A shallow, dark-finished reflection pond wraps a white stone plinth carrying a perforated-steel figure with arms outstretched, its lattice skin catching the light. Slender fountain jets rise from the black water around the base, while clipped greenery, ornamental grasses and clean white walls complete a calm, gallery-like setting.
